Farbacoat Urethane 30 acrylpolyurethane two-component coating. Contains active anti-corrosion pigments and is cured with aliphatic isocyanates. Forms semi-glossy high-quality coverings with a resistant color. The coating can be used as a straight-to-metal single-layer system and used in a moderately corrosive environment.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Coatings are used as protection for aluminum, galvanized and steel surfaces that are subject to the influence of negative atmospheric factors, as well as aggressive chemical attack.

COATING AND APPLICATION COATING

Coverage Farbacoat URETHAN 30 is supplied in two containers, which contain two components. To prepare the coating, mix both components in the indicated proportions. Component I is mechanically mixed and we add component II, mix thoroughly the mixture until homogeneous.

Product mixing ratio:

  • component I — 100 (volume) / 100 (weight)
  • component II — 10 (volume) / 8 (weight)

It is recommended to avoid over-intensive mixing of the mixture, since air can get into the composition.

After 15 minutes (at a temp. Of 20 ° C) the coating is ready for use.

The amount of diluent is strictly regulated — DILUENT 30: up to 10% by volume.

Method of applying the finished coating:

  • airless spraying: nozzle diameter Ø 0.38-0.48 mm; pressure 10 — 15 MPa
  • brush or roller
  • air spraying Ø sprayer nozzle 2.2-2.5 mm (after dilution to a viscosity of 50-60s using a VZ-246 viscometer, nozzle Ø 4 mm)

MODE OF APPLICATION

The surface must be perfectly clean. The cleaner the surface on which the mixture is applied, the more resistant the coating will be.

Coatings applied directly to steel surfaces that have been sandblasted to a minimum degree of purification Sa 2½ have the highest chemical and mechanical resistance.

  • Steel surface: dry, free from dirt, degreased. Must be cleaned at least to degree St 3 * for exterior surfaces.
  • Aluminum surface: dry, degreased, sanded.
  • Galvanized surfaces require the removal of zinc corrosion products (called white rust) and minor contaminants. Cleaning with hot water, high pressure water jet, steam or abrasive treatment.
  • With a single-layer coating applied directly to the metal, the minimum thickness is 100 microns.

Conditions of application and curing of the coating:

  • surface temperature above 0 oC (without frost and ice)
  • Surface temperature above the dew point at 3oC (avoid condensation)
  • relative air humidity not higher than 80%,
  • good ventilation.

Packaging:

  • component I — metal bucket with a volume of 20 liters, net weight — 25 kg
  • component II — 4 l metal bucket, net weight — 2 kg

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

It is recommended to store the product in the closed factory packaging in compliance with the temperature regime of 5-35 ° C:

  • 12 months from the date of manufacture for component I (base)
  • 6 months for component II (hardener).
